Job Purpose
To prepare, cook, and serve high-quality food in a safe, efficient, and hygienic manner within a busy industrial catering environment. The role supports the smooth operation of the refinery's catering service, ensuring employees and visitors receive nutritious meals and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items in line with menu specifications
- Ensure all meals are presented to a high standard and served on time
- Assist in menu planning, including daily specials and healthy options
- Cater for dietary requirements and allergen considerations
Job Requirements
- Previous experience working as a chef in a fast-paced catering or hospitality environment is essential
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet service deadlines
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- A team player with a positive and professional attitude
