Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 1:00pm

Reporting to: Catering Manager / Site Manager

Job Purpose

To prepare, cook, and serve high-quality food in a safe, efficient, and hygienic manner within a busy industrial catering environment. The role supports the smooth operation of the refinery's catering service, ensuring employees and visitors receive nutritious meals and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items in line with menu specifications
  • Ensure all meals are presented to a high standard and served on time
  • Assist in menu planning, including daily specials and healthy options
  • Cater for dietary requirements and allergen considerations

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a chef in a fast-paced catering or hospitality environment is essential
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet service deadlines
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • A team player with a positive and professional attitude
