Responsibilities

  • Actively promotes safe working practice by participating in health and safety activities.
  • Takes an imaginative and flexible approach to work, particularly in problem solving, planning, and successful implementation.
  • Provides cross-functional support and participates in other analytical processes by sharing expertise to create a forward-thinking attitude.
  • Prioritises reporting needs and contributes to business projects.
  • Collaborates with business teams to understand their challenges and identify opportunities to improve efficiency; deals with new requests into the Business Support Team for data analysing tasks.

Data Analysis

  • Analyses datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Implements data mining techniques to analyse and interpret patterns from data.
  • Develops data models to enable analysis of complex data.
  • Manipulates and links different data sets to summarise and present data in appropriate formats.
  • Builds and maintains automated reports and dashboards in Power BI to monitor key metrics and KPIs.
  • Takes ownership of running daily, weekly, and monthly reports, ensuring accurate and detailed presentation of data.
  • Stays up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and is known as a Digital Specialist within the business.

Administration

  • Participates actively with other administration team members, providing cross-functional support to other areas as required.
  • Acts as a procurement card holder for Business Support and assists with purchases as per instruction from Business Support & Facilities Leader.
  • Responsible for raising purchase requisitions for the business team and paying invoices as backup to the Business Support Administrator.
  • Maintains and updates the Technical / Business Support SharePoint sites.
  • Organises meetings and room bookings as needed.
  • Actively pursues business improvements and eliminates non-value adding activities.
