We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hydraulics Fitter on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanical professional with experience in hydraulic systems, assembly, maintenance, and repair to join a growing organisation offering long-term stability and career progression. The successful candidate will play a key role in assembling, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic components and systems across a range of industrial equipment and machinery.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems and components.
  • Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Diagnose hydraulic faults and carry out effective repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Build hydraulic hoses, cylinders, pumps, valves, and power units.
  • Carry out pressure testing and performance testing of hydraulic equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
  • Support site installations and occasional field-based service work when required.
