Your new company provides construction-related services across the Midlands and East Anglia, delivering earthworks, demolition, waste management, and material supply. Their operations span a large fleet, multiple quarries, recycling centres, and concrete facilities, supporting projects from early groundworks through to site completion. With an integrated service model, they play a key role in enabling efficient, end-to-end delivery for contractors and developers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full commercial management of projects, from contract review and subcontract procurement to valuations, cost reporting and final accounts.
- Ensure accurate financial control, timely certification, strong client relationships and proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the wider team, uphold professional standards, and contribute to securing future work while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety.
Requirements:
- Degree or NVQ in Quantity Surveying
- CSCS Card
- Experienced in Earthworks projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy (use of emails, etc.)
- Knowledge of NEC / JCT contracts
- Chartered Member of RICS / CIOB
- Experience working as a subcontractor
