Chipping Norton – £50,000pa – £60,000pa plus bonus & benefits. Our client is a leading manufacturer seeking a HSEQ Manager to advise, manage and improve HSEQ matters across the business. The role includes leading and mentoring an HSE Officer. The ideal candidate has broad manufacturing experience, preferably industrial engineering, is balanced, knowledgeable about HSEQ legislation, and able to coach staff. The HSEQ Manager is a dedicated role within the operations team, promoting and maintaining the HSEQ culture and performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring HSEQ information and metrics
  • Assessing risk
  • Consulting and advising on HSEQ issues
  • Contributing to improvement projects
  • Raising HSEQ non-compliances

Key experience:

  • Previous significant experience in an HSEQ environment, preferably within manufacturing or industrial engineering
  • Strong knowledge of HSE management systems
  • Strong knowledge of Quality management systems
  • NEBOSH level 6 Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Professionals or equivalent
  • NEBOSH Environmental Management Certification, equivalent or desire to achieve
  • ISO9001 Auditor trained
  • Strong administrative skills and IT literacy
  • Approachable nature

Benefits:

  • Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
  • Company bonus scheme: 0.25% of company net profit after successful completion of probation
