The Company

Our client is a well-established and growing business seeking a highly organised and proactive HR & People Advisor to support the Head of People and HR across a broad operational remit. This is a varied and fast-paced role suited to somebody who enjoys staying one step ahead, improving processes and supporting both people and business operations.

Role & Responsibilities of the HR & People Advisor

  • Provide comprehensive HR and people support across the employee lifecycle
  • Manage HR administration including contracts, onboarding documentation and employee records
  • Support employee relations processes including absence management, investigations and general HR queries
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement activities
  • Maintain HR systems, reports and databases ensuring GDPR compliance and accuracy
  • Work closely with the Head of People and HR to support operational priorities and continuous improvement projects
  • Act as a key liaison across departments, ensuring smooth communication and coordination
  • Support training, wellbeing initiatives and wider people-focused projects across the business

About You as the HR & People Advisor

  • Previous experience within HR, people operations or a highly coordinated business support role
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Highly proactive with a solutions-focused and forward-thinking approach
  • Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Comfortable working autonomously and managing changing priorities
  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 would be advantageous
