Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a global law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Associate to join their Real Estate team based in the Houston, TX area.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Proficiency in commercial real estate and financing transactions pertaining to mixed-use, office, multi-family, retail, hotel, resort, and other types of buildings.
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts pertaining to financial and real estate transactions, such as development-related agreements, property management agreements, easements, CC&Rs, licenses, leases, loan agreements, and buy and sale agreements.
  • Strong communication and writing abilities are necessary.
  • While not necessary, joint venture and real estate development experience is a plus.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

  • J.D. from a recognized legal education institution.
  • Admission to and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • 3+ years experience within real estate.
  • Shown capacity to oversee all aspects of a transaction on their own.
