What You’ll Do

  • Conduct independent reviews of decisions related to homeless applications under the Homeless Reduction Act 2017.
  • Assess the suitability of accommodation provided to homeless households.
  • Manage appeals against housing register decisions and council tenancies.
  • Represent the council in court challenges related to review decisions.
  • Provide expert advice to customers about their housing options and ensure swift case progression.
