Stephen James Consulting are working with an established elderly care provider in the search for an experienced Home Manager based in Horsham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse-qualified Home Manager to lead a large nursing, residential and dementia service with a strong reputation and a Good CQC rating. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards, supporting staff development, and ensuring excellent operational performance across the home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursing home
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and clinical governance standards
  • Lead and support nursing and care teams to deliver person-centred care
  • Maintain strong oversight of audits, medication management, and risk processes
  • Drive occupancy, team stability, and overall home performance
  • Work closely with senior leadership to maintain and improve standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Home Manager within a nursing home environment
  • Nurse qualified with strong clinical knowledge

  • Confident leader with experience managing large teams
