Class 1 HGV Drivers wanted!

Role Overview: Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to support general haulage operations for a client based in Horncastle. This is a long term ongoing position.

Position: HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver

Location: Horncastle, Lincolnshire

Start Date: Immediate

Employment Type: Long term - ongoing

Pay: £15.75 per hour (first 8 hours) £21 per hour (overtime after 8 hours) Weekly PAYE pay every Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete 1-5 deliveries per day, both locally and nationwide
  • Transport goods safely and efficiently
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain delivery records
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch and clients
  • Adhere to all safety and operational procedures

Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid UK HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
  • No major endorsements (maximum 6 penalty points)
  • Hi-vis clothing and safety boots
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist
