Health & Safety Advisor Site-Based Role

The Role:

We are recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a busy, fast-paced operational environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), with strong support and structured development provided. You’ll play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, supporting compliance, and helping to ensure safe working practices across site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day health & safety support across site
  • Assist in implementing HSE policies and procedures
  • Act as a first point of contact for H&S queries
  • Support risk assessments (including COSHH and task-based)
  • Identify hazards and follow through to resolution
  • Carry out workplace inspections and audits
  • Support incident reporting and investigations
  • Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation
  • Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and training support
  • Assist with contractor compliance and RAMS reviews
  • Support fire safety checks and emergency procedures

What We’re Looking For:

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate (or willing to complete within 12 months)
  • Strong interest in developing a career in Health & Safety
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Proactive, hands-on approach
  • Ability to work effectively in a site-based environment
