Home Care Assistant / Support Worker – Daytime Homecare are seeking experienced, compassionate, and reliable Support Workers / Carers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals in their own homes. Key Responsibilities
- Support the individual to engage in meaningful and varied activities to promote wellbeing and prevent boredom.
- Provide full assistance with daily living tasks and safe positioning.
- Deliver personal care with dignity, compassion, and respect.
- Support safe transfers, correct posture, and safe feeding practices.
- Monitor wellbeing and communicate effectively with family members and the wider care team.
- Promote a safe, calm, and supportive environment at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a Support Worker, Carer, or Healthcare Assistant.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support.
