We are delighted to be representing a well established local accountancy practice in their search for an Accounts Senior to join their team in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Working full time (9 - 5 ideally but some flexibility is possible).

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies for a portfolio of clients
  • Preparation of corporation tax returns
  • Producing basic self assessment tax returns
  • Dealing with client queries
  • Ad hoc duties to support the team

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within an accounts practice environment is essential
  • Ideally AAT qualified or ACCA Part Qualified - study support available
  • Knowledge of accounting software would be advantageous - Sage 50, Quickbooks and Xero
  • Live within a commutable distance of St Ives, Cambridgeshire
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with own initiative
