We are working with a well-established architectural practice in Hertfordshire that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist to take a leading role within a collaborative and supportive practice, working across a diverse range of projects while contributing to technical delivery, team coordination, and project success.

Key Responsibilities for this Senior Architectural Technologist role:

  • Lead the preparation and submission of planning and building regulation applications
  • Manage and coordinate consultants, clients, and contractors throughout project delivery
  • Oversee the production of detailed technical drawings and construction packages
  • Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards
  • Support and mentor junior team members while contributing to the technical development of the wider team
  • Work across multiple RIBA stages, with a strong focus on technical delivery, coordination, and project management

Key Requirements for this Senior Architectural Technologist role:

  • Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience working within a UK architectural practice
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit highly desirable
  • Excellent technical detailing ability and strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations
  • Proven experience managing projects and coordinating teams across multiple RIBA stages
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage workload independently
