About the Company

Morson Edge is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for one of our highly esteemed clients who have recently expanded to the Hoddesdon area. Position

We are currently hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to perform various warehouse tasks, including conducting pre‑shift checks, operating the forklift safely and efficiently, and documenting inventory movement. As a valued member of our team, you will also collaborate with colleagues to meet daily production targets and maintain high‑quality standards. Please note that this position may involve heavy lifting, picking, and packing.

Job Training

Job training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic IT skills, as you will need to use computers
  • A strong team player, comfortable working in a close‑knit team
  • A high level of proficiency in English communication

Job Offer

  • Hourly rate of £13.62
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 14:00pm to 22:00pm
  • Overtime paid at x1.25 or x1.50, depending on the day
  • Weekly pay
  • Free onsite parking
  • Complimentary drinks (coffee, tea, water)
  • Immediate start available

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre‑shift checks to ensure the forklift is in good working condition
  • Safely and efficiently operate the forklift
  • Ensure smooth goods flow within the warehouse
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles and racks
  • Accurately document inventory movement
  • Maintain a tidy and organised warehouse space
  • Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and maintain high‑quality standards
  • This role may also involve heavy lifting, picking, and packing.

Job Requirements

  • Valid Forklift Licence – Counterbalance & Reach or Pivot Steer
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication skills
