As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the day‑to‑day operations of our care home kitchen at Hindhead Place, a luxury care home that provides residential, dementia, and nursing care for older people.

Responsibilities
- Support the chefs in planning and providing high‑quality meals that meet residents’ nutritional and dietary requirements
- Plan, prepare, and serve balanced meals that meet dietary requirements
- Ensure all food prepared meets Food Hygiene Standards and uses safe methods of work
- Manage all stocks and stores, ensuring all food is correctly marked and stock rotation systems are in place
- Maintain accurate records to satisfy food hygiene requirements, such as fridge temperature checks
About You
- Proven experience in a similar catering role, ideally in a care or related environment
- Committed to customer care and first‑class service provision
- Knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations
- Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our residents
- Ability to multi‑task, work under pressure and independently in a fast‑paced environment
- Alignment with our values, a can‑do attitude, problem‑solving skills, and openness to innovative approaches
