Highways Clearance Operative / 3.5T Cage Van Driver responsible for servicing and changing litter bins at bus stops and public highway locations, collecting waste, maintaining clean public areas, and safely operating a 3.5 tonne cage van while following health and safety procedures.
- Driving a 3.5 tonne cage van
- Emptying and replacing litter bins at bus stops and roadside locations
- Collecting rubbish and fly-tipping
- Cleaning around bus shelters and pavements
- Loading waste into the cage van
- Using handheld devices to log completed work
- Following highway safety procedures
- Working outdoors in all weather
Pay and requirements:
- £13.13 an hour weekly pay
- Must have full UK manual driving licence
- Monday to Friday (2:30pm-11pm) - Overtime available
