Prospero Teaching is looking for passionate, proactive and enthusiastic HLTA to support the learning of pupils in one of our inspirational Primary Schools across in Morpeth on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their lives, progress and development.
About the Role
- Support pupils with varied SEN and challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis and in small groups (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD)
- Deliver intervention sessions to small groups to boost understanding and progress
- Develop an understanding of different needs and learning styles within the classroom, working closely with Class Teachers and colleagues
- Support across the School at break times and lunchtimes as required

Experience / Qualifications and Requirements
- Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare-based Qualification (desired)
- Experience working with children in schools in the UK
- Ability to build positive relationships and rapport with pupils and staff
- Resilient, proactive, and positive nature
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced Child Banned List DBS certificate registered with online update service or willingness to apply
- Provide two professional references covering the last two years
