We are hiring for an Industrial Electrician to join a specialist engineering business based in New Mills working on the installation, testing and fault finding of industrial machinery and 3-phase systems across a range of sites. This role is suited to someone who has worked on machinery, plant, or industrial environments, not general domestic or commercial installs, and is confident working from drawings, troubleshooting issues and getting systems up and running.
What’s on offer?
- £50,000+ p/a OTE (inc. bonus)
- Mon - Fri 45 hour week flexihours
- Option to have Fridays off if 45 hours are completed Mon - Thu
- Overtime paid at 1.5x (2x on Sundays)
- Company bonus (typically around £4,000 - £5,000 p/a)
- 20 days holiday + banks (rising with service)
- Standard pension scheme
- Overnight allowance (£40 per night when staying away)

What will you be doing as an Industrial Electrician?
- Installing and wiring industrial machinery and equipment
- Working with 3-phase systems, containment and armoured cabling
- Completing testing, inspection and fault finding on machinery
- Installing lighting and power within industrial environments
- Reading and working from technical drawings and schematics
- Supporting installation, upgrades and modifications on-site
- Working across multiple projects (mainly North West, occasional travel)
What will you need?
- Proven experience working on industrial machinery or plant equipment
- A background in industrial electrical installations (not domestic only)
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection qualification
- Strong understanding of 3-phase systems and site work
- Full UK driving licence
