HGV Mechanic Stoke-on-Trent (ST4) Full Time, On-Site Up to £44,000 per annum Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30.
Pertemps Stoke are working with a client to find a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic who thrives in a busy environment, and can think independently on tasks and priorities. The HGV Mechanic vacancy is Full time on site, ST4 in Stoke-on-Trent, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30.
The Role
- Running the diagnostics of faults within HGVs and analysing where possible.
- Preventative and routine maintenance across all vehicles.
- MOT preparation, presentation, and servicing.
- General repairs and fixing any faults.
- You will work on a variety of makes and models, predominantly 18 tonnes and over.
- A can-do attitude is a must, with the ability to work well as part of a team, and happy to support colleagues where required.
- Full on the job training for the role of HGV Mechanic will be provided. PPE will be provided.
The Ideal Candidate
- Willing to learn and adapt well under pressure.
- Positive and can-do attitude willing to go above and beyond.
- HGV licence advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to create and maintain working relationships with colleagues and customers.
