Excellent opportunity to work as an HGV Driver with Derby City Council. Staffline is recruiting an HGV Driver in Derby. The hourly rate is £15.56 per hour. The working hours for this full-time fixed position are Tuesday to Friday 6am to 3:45pm. This role requires a good level of physical fitness due to the demands of the position. Very heavy lifting is involved.

Responsibilities

  • Driving refuse vehicles
  • Working as part of a small team
  • Occasional cleaning
  • Completing void clearances and pick-ups

Qualifications

  • LGV Cat C driving licence
  • Full, in-date CPC
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Good level of physical fitness; walking up to 12 miles per day over a 4-day work week; potential for overtime
