HGV Mechanic Stoke-on-Trent (ST4) Full Time, On-Site Up to £44,000 per annum Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30.

Pertemps Stoke are working with a client to find a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic who thrives in a busy environment, and can think independently on tasks and priorities.

The Role

  • Running the diagnostics of faults within HGVs and analysing where possible.
  • Preventative and routine maintenance across all vehicles.
  • MOT preparation, presentation, and servicing.
  • General repairs and fixing any faults.
  • You will work on a variety of makes and models, predominantly 18 tonnes and over.
  • A can-do attitude is a must, with the ability to work well as part of a team, and happy to support colleagues where required.

Full on the job training for the role of HGV Mechanic will be provided. PPE will be provided.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Willing to learn and adapt well under pressure.
  • Positive and can-do attitude willing to go above and beyond.
  • HGV licence advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to create and maintain working relationships with colleagues and customers.
