HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E Drivers required. Our new client based in Wolverhampton is seeking HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E Drivers to drive their nearly new fleet of vehicles.
As a HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E Driver, your duties will include the following:
- Driving either a curtain or box sided trailer
- Starting anytime between 0100 and 1200
- The runs usually involve between 1 and 3 drops plus collections per day
- All loads are palletised therefore there will be a minimal amount of handball involved using either a manual or electric pump truck
- Average 10-12 hour shifts
The ideal HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E Driver will have the following:
- Held your HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E licence for a minimum of 12 months and have at least 3 months HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E experience in this period
- Hold a valid driver CPC card
- Hold a valid digital tachograph card
- Have no major driving convictions on your driving licence
For the successful HGV1/LGV1/Class 1/Category C+E Driver you can expect the following:
- Up to £22.41 per hour (Including holiday pay)
- Strictly PAYE basis only
- Weekly pay
- Driving nearly new trucks (24 plate onwards)
- Ongoing work on offer
- Option of either accrued or inclusive holiday pay
