The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Darlington/Teeside area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply - typically driving a class 2 vehicle; however, on occasions may be Class 1 vehicle.

  • Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday
  • Start Times: Start times vary between 6pm - 3pm.
  • Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour PAYE
  • Location: Darlington, DL1
  • Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing

The role: Bulk Multi-drop - 15/20 drops/collections. Drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • 6 months minimum experience required.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
