We are seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (C) Waste Day drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a HGV Class 2 vehicle to collect waste either from domestic or commercial premises efficiently and safely. This role offers an excellent temp to perm opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV Class 2 (C) vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety.

Duties:

  • Safely operate a HGV Class 2 (C) lorry in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collection of waste, ensuring timely and accurate collections.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license with a clean driving record.
  • Experienced Drivers Essential.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday starts 0600 (6am) to 1400 (2pm).
