Overview
The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of our well-known, industry-leading client based in the Birmingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.
Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday. Start times vary between 12pm - 10pm (afternoon/nights).
Pay Rate: 17.00 per hour PAYE (6am to 10pm), 18.25 per hour PAYE (10pm to 6am).
Location: Birmingham, B76.
Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing.
The role: Trunking – Performing trunk runs to the hub.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
- Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Minimum 6 months experience.
- No more than 6 points on the licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety‑first mindset.
