Location: Washington

Work through 2026. Unlike many HGV contracts available at this time of year, our ASDA drivers enjoy work all year round. We have part time shifts available which will include a weekend.

Pay & Hours

  • Average paid shifts are 10-13 hours per day.
  • 06:00 - 14:00 – Starting rate £14.80, increasing to £16.85 after 12 weeks, and £17.85 after 27 weeks.
  • 14:00 - 22:00 – Starting rate £16.01, increasing to £19.19 after 12 weeks, and £20.19 after 27 weeks.
  • 22:00 - 06:00 – Starting rate £17.68, increasing to £20.55 after 12 weeks, and £21.55 after 27 weeks.

ALL BREAKS ARE PAID RATES INCREASE WITH SERVICE LENGTH

Responsibilities

  • Duties include completing 1-4 deliveries to stores as required.
  • Deliveries can be either caged or palletised.
  • Completing paperwork.

Qualifications

  • HGV 1 C+E licence.
  • Digital tacho & DQC card.
  • Minimum 6 months experience.
  • No more than 6 points.
  • No DR, DD, CD, IN10'S.
  • Be able to pass a theory and practical driving assessment.
