Hours: Weekly rotating shift pattern 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00, full-time permanent contract, immediate start available for the right candidate.
Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical experience? We are recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing manufacturing business in Hereford. This is a hands-on role within a busy industrial environment, supporting site operations through reactive and planned maintenance on extrusion and moulding machinery.
The Role
- Maintain and repair extrusion and moulding equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
- Provide reactive breakdown support across the site.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Support operational teams to maintain output and efficiency.
- Ensure health & safety standards are met at all times.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Multi-skilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience working on extrusion and/or moulding machinery (highly desirable).
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Able to work effectively within a fast-paced production setting.
- Comfortable working in an engineering environment that can be dirty.
- Relevant engineering qualifications preferred.
- Ability to hit the ground running (training will still be provided).
