English Teacher role in: Hemel Hempstead

Salary: 180 - 262 per day

Full Time Temp-Perm Contract for the right candidate

We are looking for a dynamic and versatile English Teacher who has a passion for education and the ability to pass this on to their students. You must be able to teach English to key stages 3 and 4. The ability to offer a second subject would be an advantage.

This is a Full-time teaching role in a Secondary School starting ASAP.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching English to key stage 3 and 4
  • Planning lessons and writing schemes of work
  • Marking responsibilities
  • Working as part of the English department; offering a second subject would be an advantage
  • Taking part in parent’s evenings, staff meetings, training and extra-curricular activities if required

The school is looking for an English Teacher who is confident in their ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best. Candidates must be a fully qualified Secondary School Teacher with excellent classroom practices and a love of teaching.
