Talentmark is recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to join an original equipment manufacturer in the chemical research industry at their site based in Hemel Hempstead on a permanent basis. The primary purpose of this role is to own the planning, coordination and execution of project activities related to the design, production and testing of our client's automated scientific systems.
The Company: Our client specialises in research and pre-pilot scale chemical reactors and systems.
Location: This role is located in Hemel Hempstead.
Junior Project Manager role:
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to plan, build and commission scientific instruments based on our predefined designs.
- Develop detailed specification statement and production works packages.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Schedule and lead meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation and keep up to date with administrative responsibilities.
- Coordinate and perform project specific testing, verification, and validation of instruments.
- Analyse test data and troubleshoot technical issues during production and quality testing.
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry.
- Flexible approach to supporting the wider team and company goals as directed by management.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confident, personable, and assertive in customer-facing settings and interactions.
- Full driving license.
