Evolve are partnering with a brand-new client who are seeking a Pharmacist to join their team at their store in Totton. Working with around 13,000 items per month, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of high-quality pharmacy services, including all NHS services as well as private services such as travel vaccines, weight loss, and HRT, supporting positive health outcomes for patients.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring full-day shifts, with hours on Monday (8:30am-7:00pm) and optional weekend working (Saturday 8:30am-5:30pm and Sunday 10:00am-4:00pm); there is flexibility to take a day off during the week and work a Saturday instead if preferred.

Ideal Requirements for the Pharmacist

  • A UK-accredited MPharm degree, demonstrating a strong clinical foundation and commitment to professional excellence.
  • Current GPhC registration, enabling you to practise confidently and independently as a Pharmacist in the UK.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, ideally within the community sector, with the ability to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build trust with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • A clear commitment to continuous professional development, with enthusiasm for staying up to date with evolving medicines, services, and industry best practice.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist

  • Ensure safe, effective pharmacy practice, fully meeting GPhC standards and Superintendent Pharmacist requirements at all times.
  • Actively promote, maintain, and enhance the reputation of the pharmacy within the organisation through high standards of care and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive records of prescriptions and patient interactions, ensuring full compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance requirements.
  • Remain up to date with new medicines, therapies, and advancements in pharmaceutical care to support evidence-based practice and continuous service improvement.
