Working as part of a highly skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of automated production and packaging equipment. The role will involve both reactive and planned maintenance activities, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and downtime is minimised.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance across manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Responding effectively to equipment breakdowns and production issues.
- Completing planned preventive maintenance schedules.
- Fault finding on automated machinery and production systems.
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
- Experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
- Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled).
- Experience carrying out reactive, preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.
- Previous experience within food, FMCG, packaging or automated manufacturing environments.
- PLC fault-finding experience using inputs and outputs.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- 18th Edition.
- Permanent night shift working only 36 hours per week.
