About the Role

Our client is seeking a Health & Safety Co-ordinator to support operations across multiple construction and civil engineering sites in the North East. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in Health & Safety who is looking to develop their skills and progress their career within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day coordination of Health & Safety across multiple sites
  • Assist with risk assessments, site inspections, audits, and compliance activities
  • Promote and maintain a positive Health & Safety culture in line with company values
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure safe systems of work are implemented
  • Develop knowledge and experience with a view to progressing into a senior H&S role

About You

We are looking for the right person not just the right CV. This role would suit someone proactive, eager to learn, and keen to build a long-term career in Health & Safety.

Essential

  • PC literate with confidence using basic systems and reporting tools
  • Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Desirable (not essential)

  • NEBOSH qualification (training support available)
  • Experience within construction or civil engineering
