DARA People are looking to speak with experienced Health and Safety Consultants in Plymouth for an 8-week contract, working 2 days per week. This role will involve supporting a client on site with practical health and safety advice, compliance reviews, audits and general H&S support. The consultant will be required to attend site in Plymouth as part of the assignment.

Typical duties may include:

  • Visiting site and supporting operational teams
  • Reviewing health and safety documentation
  • Supporting risk assessments and method statements
  • Identifying hazards and advising on safe working practices
  • Carrying out audits, inspections and compliance checks
  • Supporting meetings and client updates
  • Tracking actions and following up with site teams
  • Providing clear and practical health and safety advice

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience in a health and safety role
  • Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice
  • Experience with risk assessments, audits or site inspections
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, CMIOSH, TechIOSH or similar qualifications
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Confidence working with clients, site teams and stakeholders
  • Availability for an 8-week contract, 2 days per week
  • Ability to travel to site in Plymouth
