We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to oversee safety performance on a prestigious construction project. This role involves working closely with project teams and the supply chain to implement safety strategies that promote a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project teams to achieve excellent health and safety standards and compliance.
- Provide expert advice on health and safety issues, including risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Promote and embed a positive health and safety reporting culture across the site.
- Drive health and safety improvements using root cause analysis and behavioural insights.
- Assist in developing health and safety competencies within the project team.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in supporting Health and Safety in large-scale construction or civil engineering projects.
- A NEBOSH General or Construction and ideally working towards a Level 6 Qualification in Health and Safety.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills to engage diverse teams effectively.
