The organisation is seeking a new Health and Safety Advisor who will work closely with internal teams to develop, implement, and monitor effective safety systems and promote best practices across all locations, reporting to the Health and Safety Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day expert advice on health and safety matters to colleagues and managers.
  • Support the development, review, and maintenance of the organisation's safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Assist with internal inspections, audits, incident reporting, and investigations, helping to implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to safety training, inductions, and communication campaigns to foster a positive safety culture.
  • Help monitor compliance and support continuous improvement activities aligned with relevant standards and legislation.

Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, with a strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation.
  • Proven experience in an advisory role within a commercial office or professional services/corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
