The Role:
We are recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a busy, fast-paced operational environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), with strong support and structured development provided. You’ll play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, supporting compliance, and helping to ensure safe working practices across site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day health & safety support across site
- Assist in implementing HSE policies and procedures
- Act as a first point of contact for H&S queries
- Support risk assessments (including COSHH and task-based)
- Identify hazards and follow through to resolution
- Carry out workplace inspections and audits
- Support incident reporting and investigations
- Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and training support
- Assist with contractor compliance and RAMS reviews
- Support fire safety checks and emergency procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- NEBOSH National General Certificate (or willing to complete within 12 months)
- Strong interest in developing a career in Health & Safety
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, hands-on approach
- Ability to work effectively in a site-based environment
