As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will work closely with operational and leadership teams to influence positive change, champion best practice, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards. The Opportunity

  • Providing visible, hands-on health and safety guidance across operational areas, supporting teams to work safely and confidently.
  • Driving a positive safety culture through coaching, mentoring, and consistent engagement with colleagues at all levels.
  • Leading and supporting safety improvement initiatives to reduce risk, incidents, and operational loss.
  • Monitoring safety performance, analysing trends, and implementing practical improvements.
  • Supporting audits, investigations, and regulatory interactions, ensuring high standards and timely actions.

About You

  • Proven experience in a health and safety role within manufacturing, engineering, or a similar environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across diverse teams.
  • A NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum, ideally working towards or already achieved Diploma level.
  • Confidence in analysing data, leading investigations, and driving continuous improvement.
  • A proactive, approachable mindset with a genuine passion for keeping people safe.
