MIG WELDER REQUIRED - 18ph+ - Permanent role - Haverhill, Suffolk

With a starting salary of 18ph+ & overtime all paid at time & half, this is above the average rate of pay for similar roles in the area.

Standard working hours: 07:30-16:00 Monday-Thursday, early finish on Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • MIG welding mild steel between 2‑mm and 10‑mm thicknesses.
  • Reading & working from CAD drawings independently.
  • Familiar with various fabrication machinery.
  • Competent in the use of various hand & power tools.

Qualifications:

  • The successful applicant will have completed an engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualification, or have a time‑served welding background.
  • We are open to a range of applicants, but we do not consider complete trainees and previous welding experience is essential.
