One of our clients, a global leader within their industry, is looking for an E&I Technician to join their operations in maintaining and repairing complex machinery in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work or a multi-skill engineer with Electrical bias experience. Our client is hiring for two positions, hence the broad salary range given.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair valves, probes, sensors and other such instruments in industrial environments
- Troubleshoot instrumentation issues using appropriate testing devices
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
- Perform preventative maintenance on systems to ensure efficiency and safety
- Fault finding in valves, sensors, mass flow meters
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and according to HSE standards
Experience
- Proven experience as an Instrumentation Technician, 18th Edition
- Knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Experience in Hazardous environments, Atex, Compex, Comah a big plus
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
