We are looking for a dependable HGV Driver to join our busy refuse collection team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking stable Monday to Friday hours, a competitive rate of £15.02 per hour, and the added benefit of finishing early on some days while still being paid for the full shift.

Overview of the role:

  • Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm
  • Driving a refuse lorry on scheduled bin collection rounds
  • Collecting household and commercial waste safely and efficiently
  • Working as part of a team to complete daily rounds on time
  • Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV licence required (class 2)
  • Digital Tacho Card
  • Previous refuse collection or similar driving experience preferred
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Temporary ongoing role to permanent
