Our client is one of Britain’s leading manufacturers of high-quality upholstered furniture. They are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their hardworking and dedicated team in Hastings, East Sussex.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a warehouse role, be computer literate, possess good communication skills and have a good eye for detail. You will also be able to work well in a team and have an awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace.

As a Warehouse Operative you will be:

  • Receiving delivery of goods and storing them
  • Checking for damaged or missing items
  • Moving stock around the warehouse
  • Preparing orders for despatch
  • Ensuring goods are loaded ready for sending
  • Keeping and maintaining stock records
  • Data entry
  • Maintaining the warehouse in a clean and tidy manner

The Ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Demonstrable experience within a warehouse position
  • Be computer literate
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Have a good eye for detail
  • Be a strong team player

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday, 7.30am to 12pm

Full Time, Temp to Perm

Location: Hastings, East Sussex
