Here at Howells, we are looking for a Supervisor to work for a leading contractor within the Social Housing Sector. As a Social Housing Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our social housing units. Works will include reactive maintenance, voids, and disrepair works. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of properties, ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and contractors in responding to reactive maintenance requests, void refurbs, and disrepair works.
- Inspect properties to identify repair and maintenance needs, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate the allocation of work orders, scheduling repairs, and managing the team's daily activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, materials used, and costs incurred.
- Monitor budgets and costs, making recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
- Build positive relationships with residents and address their concerns promptly and professionally.
