Residential Childcare Support Worker
Children's Residential Home
Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire
Salary: £29,113 - £30,565 + Sleep-in Allowance £43.90 (approximately £4,000 per annum) + £500 Welcome Bonus
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (37 hours per week)
Shifts: Days, evenings and sleep‑ins (1-2 per week)

What You'll Be Doing
- Building strong, trusting relationships with children
- Supporting daily routines, including school, activities, and bedtime
- Encouraging hobbies and interests such as sports, gaming, arts, and cooking
- Helping children develop confidence, independence, and emotional resilience
- Working closely with a supportive team and external professionals
- Following individual care and behaviour plans
About the Home
This is a 2-bed children’s home designed to provide a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). Our focus is on helping each child move forward positively, with the aim of transitioning into family or foster care when the time is right.
What We're Looking For

- Experience in residential childcare is helpful but not essential – we provide full training and support.
