About our Client:

My client is a specialist roofing contractor based in the South East. Their projects vary in value from £50k to £2 million. These projects consist of pitched roofs along with other services they provide. They are looking to add an Estimator to their team due to workload.

About the Role:

  • Timely preparation and submission of applications for payment and final accounts
  • Contractual negotiations
  • Debtor Management
  • Control of project variations / cost control
  • Submission of tenders on new & re-roofing schemes

About the Candidate:

  • Must have at least 3 years experience in estimating pitched roofing projects
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good IT skills
  • Understand the principles of contract law and how they are applied in practical circumstances
  • Able to plan/programme a job, including materials and labour
  • Negotiation skills
  • Financial understanding
