CureVita Care is looking for compassionate, reliable and professional Complex Care Support Workers to join a small, consistent care team supporting a young adult with complex neurological and physical health needs in Guildford. This is a rewarding role for someone who is warm, patient, respectful and confident supporting a person-centred care package in both the family home and the community. You will help the client live safely, maintain dignity, access the community and build greater independence. The client requires support with mobility, personal care, communication, PEG feeding, respiratory awareness, medication support and daily living tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Full personal care, including washing, dressing, continence care and repositioning
- Safe moving and handling, including hoisting and wheelchair support
- PEG feeding support, following care plans and clinical guidance
- Dysphagia and aspiration-risk awareness
- Respiratory support, including suctioning where trained and assessed as competent
- Medication support, including controlled medication protocols where required
- Clear, respectful communication and support with sensory needs
- Community access, social activities and planned outings
- Maintaining accurate care records and escalating concerns appropriately
- Working professionally within a family home, with clear boundaries and confidentiality
About You
- Kind, calm, reliable and person-centred
- Confident working in a family home environment
- Respectful of privacy, dignity, choice and independence
- Able to follow detailed care plans and clinical guidance
- Patient and observant, especially with communication and non-verbal cues
- Comfortable supporting complex care needs after training
- Professional, with strong boundaries and a positive attitude
- Willing to complete all mandatory and client-specific training
Previous experience in complex care, neurological conditions, PEG feeding, hoisting, suctioning, dysphagia support, personal care, wheelchair support, domiciliary care, healthcare assistant work or support work would be an advantage, but the right attitude and reliability are essential.

- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one
- Ability to follow care plans, risk assessments and medication protocols
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Reliability and commitment to consistent care
- Driving may be beneficial for community access, but only suitable staff will be considered for any driving duties
