Duties

  • Conduct MOT Tests in accordance with VOSA guidelines, ensuring all vehicles meet safety standards
  • Perform vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs as required for MOT purposes
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, repairs, and testing outcomes
  • Liaise effectively with customers and colleagues to provide high‑quality service
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Support the workshop team with diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues

Requirements

  • Qualified MOT Tester with valid MOT certification
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Experience working as an MOT Tester, preferably within a main dealership environment
  • Level 2 Qualification in Automotive Vehicle Servicing & Repair or equivalent
  • A high level of attention to detail and mechanical understanding
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
