We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor / Site Manager to oversee a large groundworks package alongside a smaller civils package on a busy project in East Hendred. This is a hands-on management role requiring strong coordination skills, a solid understanding of groundworks operations, and the ability to drive works safely and efficiently to programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day site operations across groundworks and civils packages
  • Supervising subcontractors, plant, labour and deliveries
  • Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to specification
  • Coordinating drainage, foundations, externals and associated civils works
  • Maintaining site records, RAMS and health & safety standards
  • Liaising with project management, engineers and clients
  • Monitoring progress and resolving site issues proactively

Requirements

  • Previous experience managing large groundworks packages
  • Strong understanding of drainage, foundations, roads and infrastructure works
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid at Work
  • Ability to read drawings and manage programmes effectively
  • Good communication and organisational skills
