About the role
Your new company Hays Senior Finance is working with a dynamic organisation seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead its finance function and provide high-quality financial insight to support strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, KPIs and board‑level commentary across a small group of companies.
- Budget, forecast and conduct variance analysis.
- Manage working capital and oversee accounts payable, receivable and payroll processes.
- Prepare detailed financial statements, support audit activities and ensure full statutory compliance.
- Improve financial processes and enhance reporting efficiency through systems.
- Partner with operational teams to drive performance and profitability.
- Manage a team of 4.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Significant experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
